About:
Kindergarten through second-grade students of Hampton Street School in the Mineola Union Free School District participated in the American Heart Association’s Jump Rope for Heart program. Taking place during the physical education classes, the event reinforced the importance of heart health, as well as contributing positively to society. Hampton Street students raised $4,000 for the American Heart Association’s research and education initiatives.
